I’ve learned a lot of lessons in my life and one of the greatest is to follow your passion.  This lesson didn’t come early nor did it come easy.  For almost 20 years I found myself doing what I should – what made sense.  I worked incredibly hard to climb the corporate ladder and achieve what I decided was success.  As I turned 40 I started to reflect on my life and my successes and decided what looked good on paper didn’t feel good in my heart.  This fueled my journey of self discovery.  I became a certified Integrative Coach through the Ford Institute in San Diego, earned both my 200 hour and 500 hour Yoga Teacher Training and earned a Yoga Therapist certificate.  All this training has provided me with a holistic approach to wellness – mind, body & soul.  After working with a Corporate Travel Incentive company the last piece of the puzzle was found and from that Nourish was born – a perfect combination of both internal and external exploration.

Erin Byron, MA, is a Psychotherapist and one of the founders of IAYT accredited Comprehensive Yoga Therapist Training. She is a sought-after Speaker and Assistant Editor of Yoga Living Magazine as well as contributing author to numerous books and articles on the themes of Yoga Therapy, lifestyle management, and mental health.
